We divided them according to volume . This is volume 1. They are called: General AI Assistants (Chatbots & Productivity). Let us analyse them.
General AI Assistants (Chatbots & Productivity)
These are AI assistants that produce more of what I call a general action. They can be used for text and image generation. So, when we talk about general AI assistants, we mean AI tools that can do many different tasks. It does not have just one specific job.
They help you to write, answer questions, generate ideas, analyze documents, help with coding, and create images. So, instead of using 5 different apps, you can use one AI for many purposes. Let us look at them one by one.
ChatGPT
This is the number among the 100 AI Platforms. The link is here https://chat.openai.com. Simply, this is a powerful conversational AI that helps with generating texts, codes, images, and document explanations and analysis. So, we use it in writing, explanations, coding, studying, and more.
You can also upload a document in chatgpt, and ask it to generate the summary or itemise the points in the documents.
Take for example, you are Mr. A and you want to prepare a facebook post about faith.
He goes to chat gpt and types: “Write a short inspiring message about trusting God.” ChatGPT will immediately generate a ready-to-post message.
Mr A can also ask chatgpt to generate an image of anything. It will do it immediately. You can use it to prepare study notes, essay writing, daily quotes, bible references, reflections, coding help and content creation. You can also gpt to generate drama story for you, for your content.
Claude (Anthropic)
This is the link: https://claude.ai. I love Claude so much because of its exhaustive way of explanation. It is meant to supply an in-depth and deep explanation for something. Claude is good for long documents, deep explanations, and careful reasoning. This is among the 100 AI Platforms.
If you want an indepth explanation for anything, then Claude is the key. For example, Mr. A has a 20-page PDF for his exam. He uploads it to Claude and asks: give a point by point explanation to this or “Summarize this into key points.” Claude will give a clean, structured summary.
Apart, from this, it does all the works like chatgpt but gives it an in depth meaning. So we use claude for document analysis, long essays, research breakdown, safe, and thoughtful answers.
Google Gemini
This is among the 100 AI Platforms.
The link is https://gemini.google.com. This is another powerful AI like Chatgpt. It does almost everything that chatgpt does. It is another multimodal AI that works with text and images, It is also used for document analysis.
The specific characteristic of this AI is that it can integrate its contents with Google tools (Docs, Gmail, Drive). For example (Mr. A):
Mr. A receives a long email. He asks Gemini: “Summarize this email and suggest a reply.” Gemini gives a summary + ready reply.
Gemini is also integrated with Google search. Immediately you search something on google, it will provide its own answers within the list of the websites where the answers could be gotten. It can also be used to generate images, Image understanding, Gmail assistance, Google Docs help and study explanations.
Microsoft Copilot
This is among the 100 AI Platforms.
This is the link: https://copilot.microsoft.com. Copilot is an AI built into Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows). Remember that it does the same work with chatgpt and other gpts mentioned above. For example, if Mr. A is making a PowerPoint presentation. Everything that has to do with microsoft, copilot handles it perfectly.
He types: “Create slides about diabetes treatment.” Copilot will generate the slides instantly. Or you can paste already written texts and ask the copilot to make them into slides. Other uses are Excel data analysis, writing in Word, creating presentations and workplace productivity.
Perplexity AI
This is among the 100 AI Platforms.
This is the link: https://www.perplexity.ai. Perplexity is an AI search engine that gives answers with sources and references. For example, Mr. A wants to research on the “Causes of pneumonia.” Perplexity gives the answer, it uses sources (like Google + AI combined)
This AI is best for research, fact-checking, academic study and Quick reliable answers.
How to Combine All 5 Like A Pro
You can also combine the five when you understand very well, how to use them. This is the exact pro workflow. Use Perplexity for research or to get facts. ChatGPT creates the content. Use Claude to improve the quality.
Use Gemini to optimize for any platform. Finally, Copilot for final output / presentation. For example, you want to grow a faith-based page. Your Topic is “God uses your struggles”.
Do these: Use Perplexity for research, insights and Bible verses. Use ChatGPT to create a 1-min script. Then use Claude to make it powerful and emotional.
If you want to post on facebook and tiktok use Gemini to create Viral captions and hashtags. You can then use Copilot to turn them into teaching slides. You will have a Content that looks like it was made by a team of experts.
Conclusion
To understand more better of the above, you can as well think of them like different types of assistants: Think ChatGPT as a Teacher + writer, Claude as a research analyst, Gemini as a Smart Google helper, Copilot as an Office assistant, then Perplexity as a Research librarian.
